In response to questions/suggestions:

1. No sign of any ferret resuce centres.
2. The Giant's Causeway is rather splendid.
3. Guinness in a snug at the Crown (opposite the Europa Hotel) is recommended.
4. Natives seem friendly, if incomprehensible.
5. The most cheering sight on Shankill Road is a gaudy mural of the Queen Mother.
