The green, green verges of England

Blood and Treasure finds that Little England has woken up to the Iraqi elections:

Last Sunday was voting day in Manchester for Iraqis. But did they have to park their cars on the pavements and make it impossible for pedestrians to walk safely? I came out of church and saw all this. They were even parking on the grass verges on Collyhurst Street.

The noise was terrific. Also, why did they jeer at people when they were trying to get past them? They waved their little flags in my face as well.
