"Bring it on": oh happy day

Over at, yes, well, ok, it's them again, you know, the wannabe neo-cons:

Come on, isn't it time we put our time and effort where our mouths are?

I admit I can think of more fruitful and more important things to do but personally I can't think of a more fun way to get involved in the general election than stalking Galloway and RESPECT on the campaign trail and exposing their politics to the public at every opportunity.

What do you reckon?

Fantastic! I couldn't put it better than Ned Ludd:

I do think you should try stepping out of the tourist curry houses of Brick Lane into the estates of Whitechapel and see how well your bluster goes down on the doorstep.

In the immortal words of Kevin Keegan I would love it, just love it, if a delegation of white, middle-aged, professional cyberwarriors set up a pro-war stall in Altab Ali park.

...

I've got some slogans for you:

"Watch those sinister muslims, Oona"

"Peace through War"

"Galloway voters are pro-fascist mountebanks"

"You wouldn't dare say that in Sulamaniyah, would you? Would you, eh?"

Just a thought - before you wade in with your robust defence of the war, check with Oona King that she's got the same strategy. Something tells me she'll retrospectively have previously unvoiced misgivings about the whole thing when it comes to standing for re-election.

Galloway's victory comes one step closer, I think. Here's the Respect website, and here's Socialist Worker's interview with the man.
